Clarissa DeCarlo joined the Children’s Museum of Yuma County’s Board of Directors in March of 2018. Clarissa has worked in Community Relations at Yuma Regional Medical Center over the past five years serving in various marketing and outreach roles. Clarissa’s previous role as a Community Outreach Specialist allowed her to collaborate with community partners and hospital leaders to coordinate large scale outreach events that brought important health information and screenings to our community. Clarissa currently oversees the hospital’s digital marketing strategy and enjoys playing a key role in sharing important healthcare news and information with our community. Clarissa graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management and recently finished her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota.
Growing up in a military home, Clarissa spent the majority of her childhood moving from state to state and country to country. Clarissa lived in Italy, Georgia and Arizona before settling in Mannheim, Germany for the remainder of her childhood. After high school, she moved to Orlando, FL for college and finally settled down in Yuma, AZ in 2009. Clarissa has two small children who are equally as thrilled as she is to help create something that will bring happiness and education to children for years to come.
