Our Summer Season is Quickly Drawing to a Close

We’re nearing the end of our summer season, but we’re not finished yet. Three more weeks to visit us Wed-Sat, 10:30am-5:00pm @ the Yuma Art Center, 254 S. Main St. Admission is $2/person and includes all regular activities (Night at the Museum extra).

Week 6 Schedule:

Wed-Fri @ 11am                  Story Time with Ms. Cindy

Join veteran storyteller Cindy Hawkins in our Bug Library for “Little Blue and Little Yellow” followed by an activity.

Thurs @ 11am & 12pm        Museum Ballet Bound with Ms. Pamela from Yuma Ballet Academy & Ballet Yuma for this fun introduction to dance.


Th-Fri @ 1:30pm                   Beading Art with our intern Noami. This activity is for children 7 and older who can listen to and follow multi-step directions. Noami will be teaching how to make beaded snakes using colorful pony beads.


Sat 2-5pm                              Our first annual Dance Marathon. The idea for this marathon was suggested to us by young Madilyn Heatwole a few weeks ago. Join in the dance party and have fun celebrating with us.


Night at the Museum            Saturday, July 13 @ 7pm-Sunday, July 14 @ 8am

The most fun sleepover in town happens this Saturday and there are a few spaces left. Families with children older than 6 can register for this evening and night of fun-museum exploration time, art projects, a side trip to find clues at Sanguinetti House Museum, an evening snack, and all-night showings of the Night at the Museum movies followed by sleepover time in the museum.
