Anna Chaulk moved with her family to Yuma just in time to start elementary school. She went to C.W. McGraw, J.B. Rolle, Gila Vista, Kofa High, and Arizona Western College before becoming a true Rebel at University of Las Vegas Nevada. She graduated with degrees in English and Paralegal Law.
In 2007, Anna embarked on the adventure of a lifetime – she became an Assistant Language Teacher for the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Program. As a teacher at Kitakyushu High School in Japan, she immersed herself in the country’s rich culture, and she picked up on some of the language. When she returned to the United States, Anna became an adjunct English professor at Arizona Western College. Meanwhile, she returned to her first love – broadcasting.
For three years, Anna was the anchor and managing editor for KECY Fox-9 and ABC-5 News. Currently, Anna is the Community Affairs Manager for Arizona Public Service. She has been a CMYC board member since 2016; she also serves on the boards of Yuma Visitors Bureau and Yuma County Chamber of Commerce.
In her free time, Anna likes to cheer on the Denver Broncos and hang out with her dog named Crackers.
